Fire Retardant Wall Paint
The greatest danger a fire poses is the speed at which it can spread. As the interior walls of many home and workplaces are made from combustible materials, it is exceptionally important to find a way to make these surfaces more resistant to flames. Not only is Lakeland fire retardant paint available in 372 colours, but it has also attained a Class A rating for E-84 testing by American Society for Testing and Material, providing it with a 'Spread of flame index of 0.000', and a 'Smoke Index of 0.050'. This is approx equivalent to Class 1 Rating under British Standard 476:7.
Another benefit of our fire retardant paint is that it is made completely organically and is completely free from solvents and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) that exist in paint from other manufacturers. This means that there's no reason to worry the chance of a headache or nausea while the paint is drying. Suitable for all walls and ceilings with a coverage area of up to 60m2 per 5 litre/per coat.
