a super-dry, soft & mellow chalky ClayPaint for bare DRY plaster, lime & plasterboard. Made with kaolin, smectite & bentonite clays as well as powdered marble for Interior Walls & Ceilings. Can be overcoated with any normal type of paint. Non-dusting & wipeable; super-breathable, easy to apply. Minimises condensation.
Can be diluted with upto 10% water if needed: - apply by medium pile roller or brush.
Coverage approx 50m2/5L per coat (normally 2 coats). *Non-resoluble - can be overcoated with any normal type of paint.

VOCs ? How many brands of Zero VOC paint are there anyway ?

Answer, Only One = and its Lakeland Paints. So is that other brand of "Zero VOC" Paint not truly Zero VOC ? Probably not. Many are not what they claim to be. The Zero VOC Fib is that most other paints claiming to be Zero VOC & VOC-free aren't ! They say that for them, VOC Free means "not more than 0.1% VOC" - but its just Not true. The ASA says "VOC-free" means a total absence of VOCs in all products". (A17-396612). Lakeland Paint is Zero VOC – like the air in your home - and we are happy to send the certificates. Remember - If you want Truly Zero VOC certified paint, it Has to be Lakeland Paints.

“Excellent clay paint. Covered well on the first coat, but places needed a second coat, however this gave a wonderful depth to the matt finish. Colour is a great match to the swatch, and a lovely addition to our room. The courier had damaged the tin in transit, but having raised the issue with Lakeland they provided a new empty tin that we could decant into, excellent service and would use again.”
