To ensure an excellent finish when you decorate, you need a good quality primer. And this is especially true when using MDF, plywood, or similar materials. Our MDF primer paint is capable of absorbing the formaldehyde that MDF can produce down to 1ppm. Our MDF primer paint is breathable, quick-drying and prevents your finishing coat from ending up from soaking into the surface.

Not only does our primer paint absorb formaldehyde fumes using Air-Pure technology, it is also free from solvents and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) – the only MDF primer paint of its kind in the world. This means no more headaches or nausea from fumes, with no restrictions on where it can be used with a coverage of up to 60m2 per 5 litre/per coat.

*Use Promptly - decant what you need & don't put the brush, roller or remainder back in the can to avoid spoilage and use once open within 2 weeks.

“Excellent coverage, wonderful paint - no odor, brushes on smoothly. We used it to prime the plywood interior walls of a new insulated garden studio that needed to be breathable. Went on well, did the job of priming/undercoating for a top coat of the Fen Shui wall paint. The studio looks lovely, smells fresh. Highly recommend both and everything else we used from Lakeland. I must also commend them for providing all the necessary data to reassure us the walls will remain breathable and their advice about how to proceed. Lovely people!”
