“I am extremely allergic to all paint and have been for all of my life. I become so breathless that I require oxygen and it takes several days to recover fully. I was really worried that Lakeland Paint was going to be safe and was reassured by the gentleman who took my order that other customers with similar issues were disappointed with the product. He wasn’t wrong. I had no reaction to my Painter Decorator painting every external door and window which was done over 2 days. The Painter also commented that although expensive, the paint had the best coverage of any paint job he had ever done in his 37 years of house painting !!! Thank Goodness I found you Lakeland. “Used Lakeland paints since the late 80's and find these are the least allergenic paints on the market having tried many others. For those who think eco-paints don't last - We last painted the front door around 15 years ago and it's now getting a re-paint. We use primer on bare wood and undercoat on previously painted wood before applying the gloss.”

“First time of using Lakeland's exterior gloss. My decorator, having been sceptical about my choice, ended up being very impressed by Lakeland's paints. I've always used a waterbased eggshell before and was concerned it may be too glossy for me. It was not, it looks just like a waterbased eggshell. It didn't require a lot of prep and adhered well to the old paint, which my decorator had been concerned about after his experience of working with other eco friendly brands, which he found didn't adhere well. I spoke with their customer service on a couple of occasions and they were so helpful and friendly. Very happy with the colour too. I would recommend ordering test pots to find the colour that works for you. Highly recommend”
