Zero VOC? = Many brands – like Little Knights, Verus, Auro, Osmo, Tikkurila etc claim to be Zero VOC – which is just not true – and Lakeland Paint is around 7000X purer !

They say Zero VOC means "not more than 0.1% VOC" – or similar. Its just Not true - 0.1% VOC is standard in the UK for Low VOC paint – and the ASA says (quote)

“VOC-free” means a total absence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in all products”        (ASA -  A17-396612)

Most Lakeland Paints are 7000x lower than this and some are 12,000x lower ! and we are happy to send the independent certificates.

If you want Zero VOC paint it has to be Lakeland Paints

And copied below are those same “We Are Special” claims of other paint brands who promote themselves in the Eco/Environmental/Healthy paint sector – their USPs. If you can see anything here or on their websites that makes them special, then please do let us know, because in our opinion its all just marketing “fluff”.

So, from an Eco-standpoint, do any of the others have a single Unique Selling Point? Anything that differentiates them from the herd? From the dozens of other mainstream paints out there?

And if not, then isn’t this “fluff” just more Greenwashing?
