Eco Friendly PVA

PVA

PVA has a huge range of uses, but is known specifically for its ability to bond porous surfaces together. This is why it is often used as a primer on surfaces such as bare cement render or plaster. This helps to not only reduce the absorbency of the surface – prevent it from moisture damage – but also helps to create a finish that is perfect for painting.

PVA Free From VOCs, solvents & formaldehyde

To prepare the PVA for use, it should be diluted at a ratio of 1:5 with water to create an emulsion. While PVA is naturally free from solvents, Lakeland's PVA is also free from VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and formaldehyde meaning that it can be applied and left to dry around children without worrying about nausea brought on by fumes.
